Autumn Fashion Tips: Layering

autumn fashion tips

Sometimes all you wanna wear is a big snuggly blanket instead of clothes… if only that was socially acceptable!

Layering is as easy as 1,2,3!

  1. Bottom Layer: For this layer, you will need a long sleeve top, a collared shirt, or just any plain old shirt. This layer is mainly hidden, so you don’t need to be too picky!
  2. Cover-Up Layer: This layer requires a jumper, cardigan, vest, or a similar item of clothing to layer over the top of your shirt. Don’t be afraid to mix and match patterns and colours – a thrown together look is what you’re aiming for.
  3. Accessorizing: The final layer is adding pieces to that bring your outfit together – try a woolly scarf and a beanie, or pair a messenger bag with a pair of over-sized sunglasses.

Layering isn’t about colour co-ordinatinating and style matching, it’s about throwing together a mixmatched outfit to brave the winter cold and look cute at the same time!
